Products & Services
CMP Scientifc focuses its business on capillary electrophoresis coupled with electrospray mass spectrometry (CE-MS) products and technologies. Thecompany's products include CE-MS instruments, CE-MS coupled ion sources, separation capillaries, CE-MS electrospray emitters, clEF-MS reagent kits, andperipheral equipment and services.
The company's globally patented EMASS-ll CE-MS coupling technology uses anelectrokinetically pumped sheath liquid nanospray ionization technology, greatlyenhancing the overall performance of CE-MS analysis. This coupling technologyhas been recognized by analytical experts from leading biopharmaceuticalcompanies and life science research institutes worldwide for its stability andsensitivity. With over 10 years of experience in CE-MS and more than 200 published papers, CMP Scientifc has developed an all-in-one CE-MS instrument to meet the needs of laboratories around the world.
cIEF-MS platform
CMP Scientific develops and manufactures the BioSummit™ CVA, a fully integrated capillary electrophoresis-mass spectrometry (CE-MS) system. Utilizing our patented EMASS-II CE-MS coupling technology, the BioSummit™ CVA ensures unparalleled precision, stability, and sensitivity. Designed for applications such as charge variant analysis, intact mass analysis, subunit investigation, and peptide mapping, this next-generation platform delivers consistent and reliable results for all your biomolecular analysis needs.
ECE-001 Capillary Electrophoresis
CMP Scientific's ECE-001 CE system is designed for the coupling with mass spectrometry. It offers separate temperature controls on the sample and buffer trays. A minimum length of 50 cm separation capillary may be used on ECE-001 CE unit for both CZE-MS and cIEF-MS analysis.
CE-MS Services
In general, many proteins, such as therapeutic monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), have charge variants. Based on the eminent EMASS-II CE-MS technology, CMP Scientific has realized automatic online MS analysis of antibody drug charge variants, which greatly improves the efficiency and accuracy of detection. So far, we have used the online cIEF-MS to complete numerous successful cases of charge variants characterization of protein drugs, including mAbs, bispecific antibodies, fusion proteins, ADC drugs.

EMASS-II CE-MS Ion Source
CMP Scientific's EMASS-II CE-MS ion source has been designed with mounting stages for common ESI mass spectrometers. Both positive and negative CE-MS modes are supported by EMASS-II ion source. Numerous applications have been developed using EMASS-II CE-MS ion source, including proteomics, polysaccharide analysis, monoclonal antibody intact molecule and subunits analysis, fusion protein biotransformation, and charge variants analysis by online cIEF-MS.
CR3520 cIEF-MS Reagent Kit
CMP Scientific's CR3520 cIEF-MS reagent kit enables fully automated online charge variants analysis for recombinant protein therapeutics. Excellent resolution and assay robustness have been demonstrated over 100 repeat injections of cIEF-MS analyses.
Consumables
CMP Scientific provides a wide set of consumables, providing options for various analytical purposes. The proprietary coating and manufacturing process contributes to the desirable results for cIEF-MS and CZE-MS analysis.
MB03-CE IonSpace™ Mobile Workbench
CMP Scientific's MB03-CE IonSpace™ Height-Adjustable Mobile Workbench is a highly digitally controlled, adjustable workbench. Being placed near mass spectrometers, the dead volume between capillary electrophoresis/liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry systems could be minimized. Equipped with a digital display controller, it allows for precise and stepless adjustment of the table height. Capable of withstanding a long-term load of up to 140KG, it features flexible lifting, exceptional stability, and heavy-duty casters for quiet, smooth movement. This workstation helps reduce operational risks associated with solvent bottle replacements, saves valuable space in laboratories, and mitigates the risk of moving high-end analytical instruments.
